Counselling for Creatives
Skye has a 25+ year extensive professional background in the arts across many artforms – fine arts, music, film and events, and holds a deep understanding of the current challenges and issues specific to the field. With a B.A. in Media Arts, Fine Arts & Communication, and a substantial career as a cross disciplinary artist herself, Skye brings a unique set of skills and knowledge to working therapeutically with this cohort.
In addition to her private Psychotherapy practice, Skye has worked as a clinician for the Support Act Wellbeing Helpline; a national counselling service dedicated to supporting those working in the creative fields. She has held over 1,500 hours of one-on-one sessions supporting this cohort, and is a passionate advocate for their mental health and wellbeing.
